The entire chain works together to provide strong support for the production of advanced steel mater


Recently, the cold rolling company has been reporting a series of successful news - the DC06 ultra-low carbon ultra-deep drawing steel has achieved mass production, and the 50AGW400 high-quality non-oriented electrical steel has been successfully rolled. This marks another breakthrough for the group in the field of advanced steel materials. Behind this achievement lies the collaborative efforts of all links at the Anyang base, providing a full-chain strong support for the cold rolling production.

From steel melting to billet rolling, the Technology Center of Anyang Base and the Rolling Operation Department of the Second Rolling Plant have firmly established the production foundation through meticulous management. They have closely collaborated with the Group's Advanced Steel Materials Industry Research Institute and the Cold Rolling Company to jointly promote the smooth implementation of advanced steel material production.

For the production of DC06 steel billets, the Second Rolling and Casting Department took precise measures. The steelmaking process strictly followed the iron water pre-treatment procedure, focusing on the issues of low-carbon, nitrogen content smelting and cleanliness control, and stabilizing the end temperature and composition of the converter; the continuous casting process fully implemented protective pouring, optimized the composition of the intermediate ladle cover agent, adopted new refractory materials to build the working layer of the ladle, and ensured the purity of the molten steel; the rolling process scientifically arranged the rolling plan, strengthened the management of key point temperatures and equipment accuracy, optimized the coiling tension coefficient, and provided high-quality billets support for the subsequent cold rolling production.

In the production of 50AGW400 electrical steel billets, the technical center and the second rolling and casting operation department jointly formed a research team to strictly control raw materials, composition and surface quality, ensuring the purity and performance stability of the molten steel. The steelmaking process precisely controlled the amount of molten iron and scrap steel loaded, refined the blowing oxygen time of the converter, the refining heating time and alloy addition management; the continuous casting process used low-carbon and low-silicon coating agents, strictly implemented the full-process protective pouring, dynamically adjusted the casting machine's pulling speed and increased the frequency of low-magnification inspections; the rolling process promoted the direct heating loading of billets into the furnace, combined with the actual situation of the cast billet to optimize the production organization, stabilized key process parameters, and laid a solid foundation for the cold rolling process.
